At World In Color Tours, we offer fun and casual gay group travel with itineraries designed to give you the most out of your trip. Our tours are perfect for singles looking to explore new destinations with other gay travelers, and also for couples who want to make new friends and enjoy the camaraderie of traveling in a group setting. We carefully balance guided sightseeing, dinners, and activities with plenty of time for leisure and customization.
Our small gay group tours average between 4-16 people, giving you the chance to make lifetime friendships with gay travelers from around the world. Plus, your tour director is like having an old friend living in the area, who can tell you exactly where to go and what to ignore.
Want to do something not on the itinerary? No problem! We give you enough free time to allow flexibility for adding your particular interests to the trip. Your tour director can arrange everything from local dance lessons to going paragliding. Want to know more about gay hotspots? Your tour director has insider info on all the best places.
Everyone is welcome on our trips! In general, many people come alone, but lots of people come with friends, significant others, family, or anything in between. Learn more about Who We Are and check out photos on our blog from our Brazil 2016 Carnaval Gay Group Tour.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What kind of travel experience can I expect? We know every traveler is different and one persons idea of a vacation is wildly different from someone else’s. That’s why our trips are very flexible. We arrange accommodations, dinner, transportation, and pre-planned activities to see major sightseeing attractions, as well as fun group outings like boat trips and shows. However, we always make sure to leave plenty of free time so you can pursue your own interests and explore a little on your own.
Even if you don’t feel like doing any of the planned activities you’ll be welcome to meet us for lunch, or dinner later in the day. Bear in mind that we’ve spent endless hours researching, visiting and experiencing the trip ourselves, so you can be sure that what we have planned is worth doing!
To explore nightlife the tour director will consult with everyone on the day of arrival to gauge what the group feels like doing and arrange night outings based on that. How big are the groups? Group sizes generally vary between 8 and 16 people. This gives everyone the opportunity to make new friends easily. We would usually run a trip with a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 18.
What is the age group of travelers in my group? Our trips appeal to all ages, but we’ve found that most of our travelers are between 28 and 50, with some younger and older. No matter what age you are, we’ve found that everyone gets along fantastically and find that they have many things in common. Keep in mind that our trips require a moderate degree of physical ability for walks, cycles, or even just carting your luggage on to trains, buses and so on.
I’m on my own and worried about traveling by myself with a group of strangers, will that be a problem? Not at all, in fact most of our travelers are single and slightly nervous of going away with people they have not met before. Rest assured that you’ll be made to feel welcome and before long it will feel like you’re traveling with a group of life long friends. In fact we often hear from guys after the trip that they wish they had gone on a group trip sooner! We also have couples joining us and we find its a great way of meeting new people while still having the comfort of a partner nearby.
What if I don’t live in the United States, can I still join you on a trip? Of course. Our trips are designed to meet people from all over the world. As we don’t provide air transportation, you are free to join us at the start of the trip and continue your travels after the tour.

If you would like help arranging your flights, we have partner travel agencies that will be happy to arrange flights for you.
